And his mothersaid, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son. And when he had restoredthe eleven hundred shekels of silverto his mother, his mothersaid, I had wholly dedicatedthe silverunto the LORDfrom my handfor my son, to makea graven imageand a molten image: nowtherefore I will restoreit unto thee. Yet he restoredthe moneyunto his mother; and his mothertooktwo hundred shekels of silver, and gavethem to the founder, who madethereof a graven imageand a molten image: and they werein the houseof Micah. And the manMicahhad a houseof gods, and madean ephod, and teraphim, and consecratedoneof his sons, who becamehis priest. In thosedays there was nokingin Israel, but every mandid that which was rightin his own eyes. And there wasa young manout of Bethlehem-judah of the familyof Judah, who was a Levite, and hesojournedthere. And the mandepartedout of the cityfrom Bethlehem-judah to sojournwherehe could find a place : and he cameto mountEphraimtothe houseof Micah, as he journeyed. And Micahsaidunto him, Whencecomestthou? And he saiduntohim, I am a Leviteof Bethlehem-judah, and Igoto sojournwhereI may find a place . And Micahsaidunto him, Dwellwithme, and beunto me a fatherand a priest, and Iwill givethee ten shekels of silverby the year, and a suitof apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levitewent in. And the Levitewas contentto dwellwiththe man; and the young manwasunto him as oneof his sons. And Micahconsecratedthe Levite; and the young manbecamehis priest, and wasin the houseof Micah. Then saidMicah, NowknowI thatthe LORDwill do me good, seeingI havea Leviteto my priest.
