Let nomandeceiveyoubyanymeans: for that day shall not come, exceptthere comea falling awayfirst, andthat manof sinbe revealed, thesonof perdition; Who opposethandexalteth himselfaboveallthat is calledGod, orthat is worshiped; so thatheasGodsittethinthetempleof God, showinghimselfthathe isGod. Rememberye not, that, when I wasyetwithyou, I toldyouthese things? Andnowye knowwhat withholdeththat hemight be revealedinhistime. Forthemysteryof iniquitydoth alreadywork: onlyhe who now letteth will let, untilhe be takenout ofthe way. Andthenshall that Wickedbe revealed, whomtheLordshall consumewith thespiritof hismouth, andshall destroywith thebrightnessof hiscoming: Even him, whosecomingisafterthe workingof Satanwithallpowerandsignsandlyingwonders, Andwithalldeceivablenessof unrighteousnessinthem that perish; becausethey receivednottheloveof thetruth, that theymight be saved. Andfor this causeGodshall sendthemstrong delusion, that theyshould believea lie: Thatthey allmight be damnedwho believednotthetruth, buthad pleasureinunrighteousness. Butweare boundto give thanksalwaysto Godforyou, brethrenbelovedofthe Lord, becauseGodhath fromthe beginningchosenyoutosalvationthroughsanctificationof the Spiritandbeliefof the truth: Whereuntohe calledyoubyourgospel, tothe obtainingof the gloryof ourLordJesusChrist. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, andholdthetraditionswhichye have been taught, whetherbyword, orourepistle. NowourLordJesusChristhimself, andGod, evenourFather, which hath lovedus, andhath given us everlastingconsolationandgoodhopethroughgrace, Comfortyourhearts, andestablishyouineverygoodwordandwork.
