And I, brethren, when I cametoyou, camenotwithexcellencyof speechorof wisdom, declaringunto youthetestimonyof God. ForI determinednotto knowany thingamongyou, saveJesusChrist, andhimcrucified. AndIwaswithyouinweakness, andinfear, andinmuchtrembling. Andmyspeechandmypreaching was notwithenticingwordsof man's wisdom, butindemonstrationof the Spiritandof power: Thatyourfaithshould notstandinthe wisdomof men, butinthe powerof God. Howbeitwe speakwisdomamongthem that are perfect: yetnotthe wisdomof thisworld, norof theprincesof thisworld, that come to naught: Butwe speakthe wisdomof Godina mystery, even thehidden wisdom, whichGodordainedbeforetheworlduntoourglory: Whichnoneof theprincesof thisworldknew: forhad theyknown it, they would nothavecrucifiedtheLordof glory. Butasit is written, Eyehath notseen, norearheard, neitherhave enteredintothe heartof man, the things whichGodhath preparedfor them that lovehim. ButGodhath revealed them unto usbyhisSpirit: fortheSpiritsearchethall things, yea, thedeep thingsof God. Forwhatmanknoweththe thingsof a man, savethespiritof manwhichis inhim? evensothe thingsof Godknowethno man, buttheSpiritof God. Nowwehave received, notthespiritof theworld, buttheSpiritwhichis ofGod; thatwe might knowthe thingsthat are freely givento usofGod. Which thingsalsowe speak, notinthe wordswhich man's wisdomteacheth, butwhichthe HolyGhostteacheth; comparingspiritual thingswith spiritual. Butthe naturalmanreceivethnotthe thingsof theSpiritof God: forthey arefoolishnessunto him: neithercanhe know them, becausethey are spirituallydiscerned. Buthe that is spiritualjudgethall things, yethehimself is judgedofno man. Forwhohath knownthe mindof the Lord, thathe may instructhim? Butwehavethe mindof Christ.
