Thereforesaidhe untothem, Theharvesttruly is great, butthelaborers are few: pray ye thereforetheLord of theharvest, that he would send forthlaborersintohisharvest. AndlikewiseaLevite, when he wasattheplace, cameandlooked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certainSamaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he sawhim, he had compassion on him, Andwent to him, and bound uphiswounds, pouring inoilandwine, andsethimon his ownbeast, and broughthimto an inn, and took care of him. Andonthemorrow when he departed, he took outtwopence, and gave them to thehost, andsaid unto him, Take care of him; andwhatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repaythee. Whichnow of thesethree, thinkestthou, wasneighbor unto him that fellamongthethieves? Andhesaid, He that showedmercyonhim. ThensaidJesusunto him, Go, anddothoulikewise. Nowit came to pass, as theywent, thatheenteredintoa certainvillage: anda certainwomannamedMarthareceivedhimintoherhouse. Andshehada sistercalledMary, whichalsosatatJesus' feet, and heardhisword. ButMarthawas encumberedaboutmuchserving, andcameto him, and said, Lord, dost thou not carethatmysisterhath leftmeto servealone? bidherthereforethatshe helpme. AndJesusansweredand saidunto her, Martha, Martha, thou art carefulandtroubledabout many things: But one thingisneedful: andMary hath chosen that goodpart, which shall not be taken awayfromher.
