Then shall thekingdom of heaven be likened untotenvirgins, whichtooktheirlamps, and went forth to meetthebridegroom. Andfiveofthemwerewise, andfive were foolish. They that were foolishtooktheirlamps, and tooknooilwiththem: Butthewisetookoilintheirvesselswiththeirlamps. Whilethebridegroomtarried, they allslumberedandslept. And at midnight there was a crymade, Behold, thebridegroomcometh; go ye out to meethim. Thenallthosevirginsarose, andtrimmedtheirlamps. Andthefoolishsaid unto thewise, Giveusofyouroil; forourlamps are gone out. Butthewiseanswered, saying, Not so ; lest there be not enough for usandyou: butgo ye ratherto them that sell, andbuy for yourselves. And while theywent to buy, thebridegroomcame; and they that were ready went inwithhimtothemarriage: andthedoor was shut. Afterwardcamealsotheothervirgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. Butheanswered and said, Verily I say unto you, I knowyounot. Watchtherefore, for ye knowneitherthedaynorthehourwhereintheSon of mancometh. For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his ownservants, anddelivered unto themhisgoods. And unto one he gavefivetalents, toanothertwo, and to anotherone; to every manaccording to his severalability; andstraightway took his journey. Then he that had receivedthefivetalentswentandtradedwith the same, andmade them otherfivetalents. Andlikewisehe that had received two, healsogainedothertwo. But he that had receivedonewent and diggedintheearth, andhidhislord's money. After a longtimethelord of thoseservantscometh, andreckonethwiththem. And so he that had receivedfivetalentscame and broughtotherfivetalents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto mefivetalents: behold, I have gainedbesidethemfivetalentsmore. Hislordsaid unto him, Well done, thou goodandfaithfulservant: thou hast beenfaithfulover a few things, I will make thee rulerover many things: enter thou intothejoy of thylord. He also that had receivedtwotalentscame and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto metwotalents: behold, I have gainedtwoothertalentsbesidethem. Hislordsaid unto him, Well done, goodandfaithfulservant; thou hast beenfaithfulover a few things, I will make thee rulerover many things: enter thou intothejoy of thylord. Then he which had receivedtheonetalentcame and said, Lord, I knewtheethat thou art a hardman, reapingwhere thou hast notsown, andgatheringwhere thou hast notstrewed: And I was afraid, and went and hidthytalentintheearth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. Hislordanswered and said unto him, Thou wickedandslothfulservant, thou knewestthat I reapwhere I sowednot, andgatherwhere I have notstrewed: Thououghtesttherefore to have putmymoney to theexchangers, and then at my comingI should have received mine ownwithusury. Takethereforethetalentfromhim, andgive it unto him which hathtentalents. For unto everyone that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: butfromhim that hathnot shall be taken awayeven that which he hath. Andcast ye theunprofitableservantintoouterdarkness: there shall beweepingandgnashing of teeth. WhentheSon of man shall comeinhisglory, andalltheholyangelswithhim, then shall he situpon the throne of hisglory: Andbeforehim shall be gatheredallnations: and he shall separatethem one from another, as a shepherddivideth his sheepfromthegoats: And he shall setthesheeponhis right hand, butthegoatson the left. Then shall theKingsay unto themonhis right hand, Come, ye blessed of myFather, inheritthekingdomprepared for youfrom the foundation of the world: For I was hungry, and ye gavememeat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothedme: I was sick, and ye visitedme: I wasinprison, and ye cameuntome. Then shall therighteousanswerhim, saying, Lord, whensaw we theehungry, andfed thee ? orthirsty, and gave thee drink? Whensaw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? ornaked, andclothed thee ? Orwhensaw we theesick, orinprison, andcameuntothee? AndtheKing shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of theleast of thesemybrethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he sayalso unto themon the left hand, Departfromme, ye cursed, intoeverlastingfire, prepared for thedevilandhisangels: For I was hungry, and ye gavemenomeat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothedmenot: sick, andinprison, and ye visitedmenot. Then shall theyalsoanswerhim, saying, Lord, whensaw we theehungry, orathirst, or a stranger, ornaked, orsick, orinprison, and did notminister unto thee? Then shall he answerthem, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of theleast of these, ye did it not to me. Andthese shall go awayintoeverlastingpunishment: buttherighteousintolifeeternal.
