And Mosesspokeuntothe childrenof Israel, that they should keepthe passover. And they keptthe passoveron the fourteenthdayof the firstmonthatevenin the wildernessof Sinai: according to allthatthe LORDcommandedMoses, sodidthe childrenof Israel. And there werecertain men, whoweredefiledby the dead bodyof a man, that they couldnotkeepthe passoveron thatday: and they camebeforeMosesand beforeAaronon thatday: And thosemensaiduntohim, We are defiledby the dead bodyof a man: whereforeare we kept back, that we may notofferan offeringof the LORDin his appointed seasonamongthe childrenof Israel? And Mosessaiduntothem, Stand still, and I will hearwhatthe LORDwill commandconcerning you. And the LORDspokeuntoMoses, saying, Speakuntothe childrenof Israel, saying, Ifany manof you orof your posterityshall beuncleanby reason of a dead body, or be in a journeyafar off, yet he shall keepthe passoverunto the LORD. The fourteenthdayof the secondmonthateventhey shall keepit, and eatit withunleavened breadand bitter herbs . They shall leavenoneofit untothe morning, norbreakany boneof it: according to allthe ordinancesof the passoverthey shall keepit. But the manthat is clean, and isnotin a journey, and forbearethto keepthe passover, even the samesoulshall be cut offfrom among his people: becausehe broughtnotthe offeringof the LORDin his appointed season, thatmanshall bearhis sin. And ifa strangershall sojournamongyou, and will keepthe passoverunto the LORD; according to the ordinanceof the passover, and according to the mannerthereof, soshall he do: ye shall haveoneordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was bornin the land. And on the daythat the tabernaclewas reared upthe cloudcoveredthe tabernacle, namely , the tentof the testimony: and at eventhere wasuponthe tabernacleas it were the appearanceof fire, untilthe morning. Soit wasalways: the cloudcoveredit by day , and the appearanceof fireby night. And whenthe cloudwas taken upfromthe tabernacle, then afterthatthe childrenof Israeljourneyed: and in the placewherethe cloudabode, therethe childrenof Israelpitched their tents. Atthe commandmentof the LORDthe childrenof Israeljourneyed, and atthe commandmentof the LORDthey pitched: as long asthe cloudabodeuponthe tabernaclethey rested in their tents. And when the cloudtarried longuponthe tabernaclemanydays, then the childrenof Israelkeptthe chargeof the LORD, and journeyednot. And so it was, whenthe cloudwasa fewdaysuponthe tabernacle; according tothe commandmentof the LORDthey abode in their tents, and according tothe commandmentof the LORDthey journeyed. And so it was, whenthe cloudabodefrom evenuntothe morning, and that the cloudwas taken upin the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by dayor by nightthat the cloudwas taken up, they journeyed. Or whether it were two days, ora month, ora year, that the cloudtarrieduponthe tabernacle, remainingthereon, the childrenof Israelabode in their tents, and journeyednot: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. Atthe commandmentof the LORDthey rested in the tents, and atthe commandmentof the LORDthey journeyed: they keptthe chargeof the LORD, atthe commandmentof the LORDby the handof Moses.
