The wordof the LORDthatcametoMicahthe Morasthitein the daysof Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kingsof Judah, whichhe sawconcerningSamariaand Jerusalem. Hear, allye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the LordGODbewitnessagainst you, the Lordfrom his holytemple. For, behold, the LORDcometh forthout of his place, and will come down, and treaduponthe high placesof the earth. And the mountainsshall be moltenunderhim, and the valleysshall be cleft, as waxbeforethe fire, and as the waters that are poured downa steep place. For the transgressionof Jacob is allthis, and for the sinsof the houseof Israel. What is the transgressionof Jacob? is it notSamaria? and what are the high placesof Judah? are they notJerusalem? Therefore I will makeSamariaas a heapof the field, and as plantingsof a vineyard: and I will pour downthe stonesthereof into the valley, and I will discoverthe foundationsthereof. And allthe graven imagesthereof shall be beaten to pieces, and allthe hiresthereof shall be burnedwith the fire, and allthe idolsthereof will I laydesolate: forshe gathered it of the hireof a harlot, and they shall returntothe hireof a harlot. ThereforeI will wailand howl, I will gostrippedand naked: I will makea wailinglike the dragons, and mourningas the owls. Forher wound is incurable; forit is comeuntoJudah; he is comeuntothe gateof my people, even toJerusalem. Declareye it notat Gath, weep ye not at all: in the houseof Aphrahroll thyselfin the dust.
