And Mosesand Aaroncame inuntoPharaoh, and saiduntohim, Thussaiththe LORDGodof the Hebrews, How longwilt thou refuseto humble thyselfbeforeme? let my peoplego, that they may serveme. Else, ifthourefuseto let my peoplego, behold, tomorrowwill I bringthe locustsinto thy coast: And they shall coverthe faceof the earth, that one cannotbe ableto seethe earth: and they shall eatthe residueof that which is escaped, which remainethunto you fromthe hail, and shall eateverytreewhich growethfor you out ofthe field: And they shall fillthy houses, and the housesof allthy servants, and the housesof allthe Egyptians; whichneitherthy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathershave seen, since the daythat they wereuponthe earthuntothisday. And he turnedhimself, and went outfromPharaoh. And Pharaoh's servantssaiduntohim, How longshall this manbea snareunto us? let the mengo, that they may servethe LORDtheir God: knowestthou not yetthatEgyptis destroyed? And Mosesand Aaronwere brought againuntoPharaoh: and he saiduntothem, Go, servethe LORDyour God: but who are they that shall go? And Mosessaid, We will gowith our youngand with our old, with our sonsand with our daughters, with our flocksand with our herdswill we go; forwe must hold a feastunto the LORD. And he saiduntothem, Let the LORDbesowithyou, asI will let you go, and your little ones: look to it ; forevil is beforeyou. Notso: gonowye that are men, and servethe LORD; forthat yedid desire. And they were driven outfromPharaoh's presence. And the LORDsaiduntoMoses, Stretch outthine handoverthe landof Egyptfor the locusts, that they may come upuponthe landof Egypt, and eateveryherbof the land, even allthatthe hailhath left. And Mosesstretched forthhis rodoverthe landof Egypt, and the LORDbroughtan eastwindupon the landallthatday, and all that night; and when it wasmorning, the eastwindbroughtthe locusts. And the locustswent upoverallthe landof Egypt, and restedin allthe coastsof Egypt: verygrievous were they ; beforethem there werenosuchlocustsas they, neitherafterthem shall besuch. For they coveredthe faceof the wholeearth, so that the landwas darkened; and they did eateveryherbof the land, and allthe fruitof the treeswhichthe hailhad left: and there remainednotanygreen thingin the trees, or in the herbsof the field, through allthe landof Egypt. Then Pharaohcalledfor Mosesand Aaronin haste; and he said, I have sinnedagainst the LORDyour God, and against you. Nowtherefore forgive, I pray thee, my sinonlythis once, and entreatthe LORDyour God, that he may take awayfromme thisdeathonly. And he went outfromPharaoh, and entreatedthe LORD. And the LORDturneda mightystrongwestwind, which took awaythe locusts, and castthem into the Redsea; there remainednotonelocustin allthe coastsof Egypt. But the LORDhardenedPharaoh's heart, so that he would notlet the childrenof Israelgo. And the LORDsaiduntoMoses, Stretch outthine handtowardheaven, that there may bedarknessoverthe landof Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Mosesstretched forthhis handtowardheaven; and there wasa thickdarknessin allthe landof Egyptthreedays: They sawnotoneanother, neitherroseanyfrom his placefor threedays: but allthe childrenof Israelhadlightin their dwellings. And PharaohcalleduntoMoses, and said, Goye, servethe LORD; onlylet your flocksand your herdsbe stayed: let your little onesalsogowithyou. And Mosessaid, Thoumust giveusalsosacrificesand burnt offerings, that we may sacrificeunto the LORDour God. Our cattlealsoshall gowithus; there shall nota hoofbe left behind; forthereofmust we taketo servethe LORDour God; and weknownotwith whatwe must servethe LORD, untilwe comethither. But the LORDhardenedPharaoh's heart, and he wouldnotlet them go. And Pharaohsaidunto him, Getthee fromme, take heedto thyself, seemy facenomore; forin that daythou seestmy facethou shalt die. And Mosessaid, Thou hast spokenwell, I will seethy faceagainnomore.
