A Psalm or Songfor the sabbathday. It is a good thing to give thanksunto the LORD, and to sing praisesunto thy name, O most High: To show forththy lovingkindnessin the morning, and thy faithfulnessevery night, Uponan instrument of ten strings, and uponthe psaltery; upon the harpwitha solemn sound. Forthou, LORD, hast made me gladthrough thy work: I will triumphin the worksof thy hands. O LORD, howgreatare thy works! and thy thoughtsare verydeep. A brutishmanknowethnot; neitherdoth a foolunderstandthis. When the wickedspringasthe grass, and when allthe workersof iniquitydo flourish; it is that they shall be destroyedforever: But thou, LORD, art most highforevermore. For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemiesshall perish; allthe workersof iniquityshall be scattered. But my hornshalt thou exaltlike the horn of a unicorn: I shall be anointedwith freshoil. Mine eyealso shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine earsshall hear my desire of the wickedthat rise upagainstme. The righteousshall flourishlike the palm tree: he shall growlike a cedarin Lebanon. Those that be plantedin the houseof the LORDshall flourishin the courtsof our God. They shall stillbring forth fruitin old age; they shall befatand flourishing; To showthatthe LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is nounrighteousnessin him.
