Praiseye the LORD: for it is goodto sing praisesunto our God; for it is pleasant; and praiseis comely. The LORDdoth build upJerusalem: he gathereth togetherthe outcastsof Israel. He healeththe brokenin heart, and bindeth uptheir wounds. He telleththe numberof the stars; he calleththem allby their names. Great is our Lord, and of greatpower: his understanding is infinite. The LORDlifteth upthe meek: he casteth the wicked downtothe ground. Singunto the LORDwith thanksgiving; sing praiseupon the harpunto our God: Who covereththe heavenwith clouds, who preparethrainfor the earth, who maketh grassto growupon the mountains. He givethto the beasthis food, and to the youngravenswhichcry. He delightethnotin the strengthof the horse: he taketh not pleasurein the legsof a man. The LORDtaketh pleasure inthem that fearhim, in those that hopein his mercy. Praisethe LORD, O Jerusalem; praisethy God, O Zion. Forhe hath strengthenedthe barsof thy gates; he hath blessedthy childrenwithinthee. He makethpeace in thy borders, and filleththee with the finestof the wheat. He sendeth forthhis commandment upon earth: his wordrunnethveryswiftly. He givethsnowlike wool: he scattereththe hoarfrostlike ashes. He casteth forthhis icelike morsels: whocan standbeforehis cold? He sendeth outhis word, and melteththem: he causeth his windto blow, and the watersflow. He showethhis wordunto Jacob, his statutesand his judgmentsunto Israel. He hath notdealtsowith anynation: and as for his judgments, they have notknownthem. Praiseye the LORD.
