Then answeredBildadthe Shuhite, and said, How longwilt thou speakthese things ? and how long shall the wordsof thy mouth be like a strongwind? Doth Godpervertjudgment? ordoth the Almightypervertjustice? Ifthy childrenhave sinnedagainst him, and he have cast them awayfortheir transgression; Ifthouwouldest seek unto God quickly, and make thy supplicationtothe Almighty; Ifthou wast pureand upright; surelynowhe would awakeforthee, and make the habitationof thy righteousnessprosperous. Though thy beginningwassmall, yet thy latter endshould greatlyincrease. Forinquire, I pray thee, of the formerage, and preparethyself to the searchof their fathers: ( Forwe are but of yesterday, and knownothing, becauseour daysuponearth are a shadow:) Shall nottheyteachthee, and tellthee, and utterwordsout of their heart? Can the rushgrow upwithoutmire? can the flaggrowwithoutwater? Whilst it is yetin his greenness, and notcut down, it witherethbeforeany other herb. So are the pathsof allthat forgetGod; and the hypocrite's hopeshall perish: Whosehopeshall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web. He shall leanuponhis house, but it shall notstand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall notendure. He is greenbeforethe sun, and his branchshooteth forthinhis garden. His rootsare wrappedaboutthe heap, and seeththe placeof stones. Ifhe destroyhim from his place, then it shall denyhim, saying , I have notseenthee. Behold, this is the joyof his way, and out of the earthshall othersgrow. Behold, Godwill notcast awaya perfect man , neitherwill he helpthe evildoers: Tillhe fillthy mouthwith laughing, and thy lipswith rejoicing. They that hatethee shall be clothedwith shame; and the dwelling placeof the wickedshall come to naught.
