And Solomontoldher allher questions: there wasnot any thinghidfromthe king, whichhe toldher not. And when the queenof Shebahad seenallSolomon's wisdom, and the housethathe had built, And the meatof his table, and the sittingof his servants, and the attendanceof his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascentby whichhe went upunto the houseof the LORD; there wasnomorespiritin her. And she saidtothe king, It wasa truereportthatI heardin mine own landofthy actsand ofthy wisdom. Howbeit I believednotthe words, untilI came, and mine eyeshad seen it : and, behold, the halfwas nottoldme: thy wisdomand prosperityexceedeththe famewhichI heard. Happy are thy men, happy are thesethy servants, which standcontinuallybeforethee, and that hearthy wisdom. Blessedbethe LORDthy God, whichdelightedin thee, to setthee onthe throneof Israel: because the LORDlovedIsraelforever, therefore madehe thee king, to dojudgmentand justice. And she gavethe kinga hundredand twentytalentsof gold, and of spicesverygreat store, and preciousstones: there camenomoresuchabundanceof spicesas these whichthe queenof Shebagaveto kingSolomon. And the navyalsoof Hiram, thatbroughtgoldfrom Ophir, brought infrom Ophirgreatplentyof almugtrees, and preciousstones. And the kingmadeof the almugtreespillarsfor the houseof the LORD, and for the king's house, harpsalso and psalteriesfor singers: there camenosuchalmugtrees, norwere seenuntothisday. And kingSolomongaveunto the queenof Shebaallher desire, whatsoevershe asked, beside that whichSolomongaveher of his royal bounty. So she turnedand wentto her own country, sheand her servants. Now the weightof goldthatcameto Solomonin oneyearwassixhundredthreescoreand sixtalentsof gold, Beside that he had of the merchantmen, and of the trafficof the spice merchants, and of allthe kingsof Arabia, and of the governorsof the country. And kingSolomonmadetwo hundredtargets of beatengold: sixhundred shekels of goldwenttoonetarget. And he made threehundredshields of beatengold; threepoundof goldwenttooneshield: and the kingputthem in the houseof the forestof Lebanon. Moreover the kingmadea greatthroneof ivory, and overlaidit with the bestgold. The thronehad sixsteps, and the topof the throne was roundbehind: and there were stayson either sideonthe placeof the seat, and twolionsstoodbesidethe stays. And twelvelionsstoodthereonthe one sideand on the otherupon the sixsteps: there was notthe likemadein anykingdom. And allkingSolomon's drinkingvessels were of gold, and allthe vesselsof the houseof the forestof Lebanon were of puregold; none were of silver: it was nothingaccountedof in the daysof Solomon. Forthe kinghad at seaa navyof Tharshishwiththe navyof Hiram: oncein threeyearscamethe navyof Tharshish, bringinggold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks. So kingSolomonexceeded allthe kingsof the earthfor richesand for wisdom. And allthe earthsoughttoSolomon, to hearhis wisdom, whichGodhad putin his heart. And theybroughtevery manhis present, vesselsof silver, and vesselsof gold, and garments, and armor, and spices, horses, and mules, a rateyearby year. And Solomongathered togetherchariotsand horsemen: and he hada thousandand fourhundredchariots, and twelvethousandhorsemen, whom he bestowedin the citiesfor chariots, and withthe kingat Jerusalem. And the kingmadesilver to be in Jerusalemas stones, and cedarsmadehe to be as the sycamore treesthat are in the vale, for abundance. And Solomonhad horsesbroughtout of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchantsreceivedthe linen yarnat a price. And a chariotcame upand went outof Egyptfor sixhundred shekels of silver, and a horsefor a hundredand fifty: and sofor allthe kingsof the Hittites, and for the kingsof Syria, did they bring them outby their means.
