Then Josephcouldnotrefrain himselfbefore allthem that stoodbyhim; and he cried, Cause everymanto go outfromme. And there stoodnomanwithhim, while Josephmade himself knownuntohis brethren. And he wept aloud: and the Egyptiansand the houseof Pharaohheard. And Josephsaiduntohis brethren, I am Joseph; doth my fatheryetlive? And his brethrencouldnotanswerhim; forthey were troubledat his presence. And Josephsaiduntohis brethren, Come neartome, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Josephyour brother, whomye soldinto Egypt. Nowtherefore be notgrieved, norangrywith yourselves, thatye soldme hither: forGoddid sendme beforeyou to preserve life. Forthesetwo years hath the famine been inthe land: and yet there are fiveyears, in the which there shall neither be earingnor harvest. And Godsentme beforeyou to preserveyou a posterityin the earth, and to save your livesby a greatdeliverance. So now it was notyou that sentme hither, butGod: and he hath mademe a fatherto Pharaoh, and lordof allhis house, and a rulerthroughout allthe landof Egypt. Hasteye, and go uptomy father, and sayuntohim, Thussaiththy sonJoseph, Godhath mademe lordof allEgypt: come downuntome, tarrynot: And thou shalt dwellin the landof Goshen, and thou shalt benearuntome, thou, and thy children, and thy children's children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and allthatthou hast: And therewill I nourishthee; foryet there are fiveyearsof famine; lestthou, and thy household, and allthatthou hast, come to poverty. And, behold, your eyessee, and the eyesof my brotherBenjamin, that it is my mouththat speakethuntoyou. And ye shall tellmy fatherof allmy gloryin Egypt, and of allthatye have seen; and ye shall hasteand bring downmy fatherhither. And he felluponhis brotherBenjamin's neck, and wept; and Benjaminweptuponhis neck. Moreover he kissedallhis brethren, and weptuponthem: and afterthathis brethrentalkedwithhim. And the famethereof was heardin Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brethrenare come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants. And PharaohsaiduntoJoseph, Sayuntothy brethren, Thisdoye; ladeyour beasts, and go, getyou unto the landof Canaan; And takeyour fatherand your households, and comeuntome: and I will giveyou the goodof the landof Egypt, and ye shall eatthe fatof the land. Now thouart commanded, thisdoye; takeyou wagonsout of the landof Egyptfor your little ones, and for your wives, and bringyour father, and come. Also regardnotyour stuff; forthe goodof allthe landof Egypt is yours. And the childrenof Israeldidso: and Josephgavethem wagons, according tothe commandmentof Pharaoh, and gavethem provisionfor the way. To allof them he gaveeach manchangesof raiment; but to Benjaminhe gavethreehundred pieces of silver, and fivechangesof raiment. And to his fatherhe sentafter this manner ; tenassesladenwith the good thingsof Egypt, and tenshe assesladenwith cornand breadand meatfor his fatherby the way. So he senthis brethrenaway, and they departed: and he saiduntothem, See that ye fall not outby the way. And they went upout of Egypt, and cameinto the landof CanaanuntoJacobtheir father, And toldhim, saying, Joseph is yetalive, and he is governorover allthe landof Egypt. And Jacob's heartfainted, forhe believedthem not. And they toldhim allthe wordsof Joseph, whichhe had saiduntothem: and when he sawthe wagonswhichJosephhad sentto carryhim, the spiritof Jacobtheir fatherrevived: And Israelsaid, It is enough; Josephmy son is yetalive: I will goand seehim beforeI die.
