Moreover, brethren, I declareunto youthegospelwhichI preachedunto you, whichalsoye have received, andwhereinye stand; Bywhichalsoye are saved, ifye keep in memorywhatIpreachedunto you, unlessye have believedin vain. ForI deliveredunto youfirst of allthat whichI alsoreceived, how thatChristdiedforoursinsaccordingto theScriptures; Andthathe was buried, andthathe rose againthethirddayaccordingto theScriptures: Andthathe was seenof Cephas, thenof thetwelve: After that, he was seenof abovefive hundredbrethrenat once; ofwhomthegreater partremainuntothis present, butsomearefallen asleep. After that, he was seenof James; thenof alltheapostles. Andlastof allhe was seenof me also, asof one born out of due time. ForIamtheleastof theapostles, thatamnotmeetto be calledan apostle, becauseI persecutedthechurchof God. Butby the graceof GodI amwhatI am: andhisgracewhich was bestowed uponmewasnotin vain; butI laboredmore abundantlythan theyall: yetnotI, butthegraceof Godwhichwas withme. Thereforewhether it were Ior they, sowe preach, andsoye believed. NowifChristbe preachedthathe rosefromthe dead, howsaysomeamongyouthatthere isnoresurrectionof the dead? Butifthere benoresurrectionof the dead, then is Christnotrisen: AndifChristbe notrisen, then is ourpreachingvain, andyourfaith is alsovain. Yea, andwe are foundfalse witnessesof God; becausewe have testifiedofGodthathe raised upChrist: whomhe raised not up, if so be thatthe deadrisenot. Forifthe deadrisenot, then is notChristraised: AndifChristbe notraised, yourfaith is vain; ye areyetinyoursins. Thenthey also which are fallen asleepinChristare perished. Ifinthislifeonlywe havehopeinChrist, we areof allmenmost miserable. Butnowis Christrisenfromthe dead, and becomethe firstfruitsof them that slept. Forsincebyman came death, byman came alsothe resurrectionof the dead. ForasinAdamalldie, evensoinChristshall allbe made alive. Butevery maninhis ownorder: Christthe firstfruits; afterwardtheythat are Christ's athiscoming. Then cometh theend, whenhe shall have delivered upthekingdomto God, eventhe Father; whenhe shall have put downallruleandallauthorityandpower. Forhemustreign, tillhe hath putallenemiesunderhisfeet. The lastenemy that shall be destroyed is death. Forhe hath putall thingsunderhisfeet. Butwhenhe saithall thingsare put under him, it is manifestthathe is excepted, which did put all things underhim. Andwhenall thingsshall be subdued untohim, thenshall theSonalsohimselfbe subjectunto him that put all things underhim, thatGodmay beallinall. Elsewhatshall they dowhich are baptizedforthedead, ifthe deadrisenotat all? whyare they thenbaptizedforthedead? Andwhystand we in jeopardyeveryhour? I protestby yourrejoicingwhichI haveinChristJesusourLord, I diedaily. Ifafter the mannerof menI have fought with beastsatEphesus, whatadvantagethit me, ifthe deadrisenot? let us eatanddrink; fortomorrowwe die. Be notdeceived: evilcommunicationscorruptgoodmanners. Awaketo righteousness, andsinnot; forsomehave not the knowledgeof God: I speak this toyourshame. Butsome man will say, Howare thedeadraised up? andwith whatbodydo they come? Thou fool, that whichthousowestis notquickened, exceptit die: Andthat whichthou sowest, thou sowestnotthat bodythat shall be, butbaregrain, it may chanceof wheat, orof someother grain : ButGodgivethita bodyasit hath pleasedhim, andto everyseedhis ownbody. Allflesh is notthesameflesh: but there is onekind of fleshof men, anotherfleshof beasts, anotherof fishes, andanotherof birds. There are alsocelestialbodies, andbodiesterrestrial: butthegloryof thecelestialisone, andthe glory of theterrestrial is another. There is onegloryof the sun, andanothergloryof the moon, andanothergloryof the stars: for one stardiffereth from another staringlory. Soalso is theresurrectionof thedead. It is sownincorruption; it is raisedinincorruption: It is sownindishonor; it is raisedinglory: it is sowninweakness; it is raisedinpower: It is sowna naturalbody; it is raiseda spiritualbody. There isa naturalbody, andthere isa spiritualbody. Andsoit is written, ThefirstmanAdamwas madealivingsoul; thelastAdam was madea quickeningspirit. Howbeitthat was notfirstwhich is spiritual, butthat which is natural; and afterwardthat which is spiritual. Thefirstman is ofthe earth, earthy: thesecondman is theLordfromheaven. As is theearthy, such are they also that are earthy: andas is theheavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. Andaswe have bornetheimageof theearthy, we shall alsobeartheimageof theheavenly. NowthisI say, brethren, thatfleshandbloodcannotinheritthe kingdomof God; neitherdoth corruptioninheritincorruption. Behold, I showyoua mystery; We shall notallsleep, butwe shall allbe changed, Ina moment, inthe twinklingof an eye, atthelasttrump: forthe trumpet shall sound, andthedeadshall be raisedincorruptible, andweshall be changed. Forthiscorruptiblemustput onincorruption, andthismortal must put onimmortality. Sowhenthiscorruptibleshall have put onincorruption, andthismortalshall have put onimmortality, thenshall be brought to passthesayingthat is written, Deathis swallowed upinvictory. O death, where is thysting? O grave, where is thyvictory? Thestingof death is sin; andthestrengthof sin is thelaw. Butthanks be to God, which givethusthevictorythroughourLordJesusChrist. Therefore, mybelovedbrethren, beye steadfast, unmovable, alwaysaboundingintheworkof theLord, forasmuch as ye knowthatyourlaborisnotin vaininthe Lord.
