Longtimethereforeabodethey speaking boldlyintheLord, whichgave testimonyunto thewordof hisgrace, andgrantedsignsandwondersto be donebytheirhands. Butthemultitudeof thecitywas divided: andpartheldwiththeJews, andpartwiththeapostles. Andwhenthere wasan assaultmade bothof theGentiles, andalso of the Jewswiththeirrulers, to use them despitefully, andto stonethem, They were aware of it, and fleduntoLystraandDerbe, citiesof Lycaonia, andinto theregion that lieth round about: And therethey preached the gospel. Andthere sata certainmanatLystra, impotentin his feet, beinga cripplefromhismother's womb, whoneverhad walked: The sameheardPaulspeak: whosteadfastly beholdinghim, andperceivingthathe hadfaithto be healed, Saidwith a loudvoice, Standuprightonthyfeet. Wealsoaremenof like passionswith you, and preachunto youthat ye should turnfromthesevanitiesuntothelivingGod, whichmadeheaven, andearth, andthesea, andall thingsthatare therein: Whointimespastsufferedallnationsto walkin their ownways. Neverthelesshe leftnothimselfwithout witness, in that he did good, and gaveusrainfrom heaven, andfruitfulseasons, fillingourheartswith foodandgladness. Andwhen they had preached the gospelto thatcity, andhad taughtmany, they returned againtoLystra, and to Iconium, andAntioch, Confirmingthesoulsof thedisciples, and exhortingthem to continuein thefaith, andthatwemustthroughmuchtribulationenterintothekingdomof God. Andwhen they had ordainedthemeldersin every church, and had prayedwithfasting, they commendedthemto theLord, onwhomthey believed. Andafter they had passed throughoutPisidia, they cametoPamphylia. Andwhen they had preachedthewordinPerga, they went downintoAttalia: And thencesailedtoAntioch, from whencethey had beenrecommendedto thegraceof Godfortheworkwhichthey fulfilled. Andwhen they were come, andhad gathered the church together, they rehearsedall thatGodhad donewiththem, andhowhe had openedthe doorof faithunto theGentiles. Andtherethey abodelongtimewiththedisciples.
