And the LORDspokeuntoMoses, saying, Commandthe childrenof Israel, that they put outofthe campeveryleper, and every onethat hath an issue, and whosoeveris defiledby the dead: Both maleandfemaleshall ye put out, withoutthe campshall ye putthem; that they defilenottheir camps, in the midstwhereofIdwell. And the childrenof Israeldidso, and put them outwithoutthe camp: asthe LORDspokeuntoMoses, sodidthe childrenof Israel. And the LORDspokeuntoMoses, saying, Speakuntothe childrenof Israel, Whena manorwomanshall commitanysinthat mencommit, to doa trespassagainst the LORD, and thatpersonbe guilty; Then they shall confesstheir sinwhichthey have done: and he shall recompensehis trespasswith the principalthereof, and adduntoit the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whomhe hath trespassed. But ifthe manhave nokinsmanto recompensethe trespassunto, let the trespassbe recompensedunto the LORD, even to the priest; besidethe ramof the atonement, wherebyan atonement shall be madeforhim. And everyofferingof allthe holy thingsof the childrenof Israel, whichthey bringunto the priest, shall behis. And every man's hallowed thingsshall behis: whatsoeverany mangiveththe priest, it shall behis. And the LORDspokeuntoMoses, saying, Speakuntothe childrenof Israel, and sayuntothem, Ifany man's wifego aside, and commita trespassagainst him, And a manliewithher carnally, and it be hidfrom the eyesof her husband, and be kept close, and shebe defiled, and there be nowitnessagainst her, neithershebe taken with the manner ; And the spiritof jealousycomeuponhim, and he be jealousof his wife, and shebe defiled: orif the spiritof jealousycomeuponhim, and he be jealousof his wife, and shebe notdefiled: Then shall the manbringhis wifeuntothe priest, and he shall bringher offeringforher, the tenth part of an ephahof barleymeal; he shall pournooiluponit, norputfrankincensethereon; forit is an offeringof jealousy, an offeringof memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. And the priestshall bring her near, and sether beforethe LORD: And the priestshall takeholywaterin an earthenvessel; and ofthe dustthatisin the floorof the tabernaclethe priestshall take, and put it intothe water: And the priestshall setthe womanbeforethe LORD, and uncoverthe woman's head, and putthe offeringof memorialinher hands, which is the jealousyoffering: and the priestshall havein his handthe bitterwaterthat causeth the curse: And the priestshall charge her by an oath, and sayuntothe woman, Ifnomanhave lainwiththee, and ifthou hast notgone asideto uncleanness with another instead ofthy husband, be thou freefrom thisbitterwaterthat causeth the curse: But ifthouhast gone aside to another instead ofthy husband, and ifthou be defiled, and some manhave lainwith thee besidethine husband: Then the priestshall chargethe womanwith an oathof cursing, and the priestshall sayunto the woman, The LORDmakethee a curseand an oathamongthy people, when the LORDdoth makethy thighto rot, and thy bellyto swell; And thiswaterthat causeth the curseshall gointo thy bowels, to make thy bellyto swell, and thy thighto rot: And the womanshall say, Amen, amen. And the priestshall writethesecursesin a book, and he shall blot them outwiththe bitterwater: And he shall cause the womanto drinkthe bitterwaterthat causeth the curse: and the waterthat causeth the curseshall enterinto her, and become bitter. Then the priestshall takethe jealousyofferingout of the woman's hand, and shall wavethe offeringbeforethe LORD, and offerit uponthe altar: And the priestshall take a handfulofthe offering, even the memorialthereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterwardshall cause the womanto drinkthe water. And when he hath made her to drinkthe water, then it shall come to pass, that , ifshe be defiled, and have donetrespassagainst her husband, that the waterthat causeth the curseshall enterinto her, and become bitter, and her bellyshall swell, and her thighshall rot: and the womanshall bea curseamongher people. And ifthe womanbe notdefiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceiveseed. This is the lawof jealousies, whena wifegoeth aside to another instead ofher husband, and is defiled; Orwhenthe spiritof jealousycomethuponhim, and he be jealousover his wife, and shall setthe womanbeforethe LORD, and the priestshall executeupon her allthislaw. Then shall the manbe guiltlessfrom iniquity, and thiswomanshall bearher iniquity.
