To the chief MusicianuponNehiloth, A Psalmof David. Give earto my words, O LORD, considermy meditation. Hearkenunto the voiceof my cry, my King, and my God: foruntothee will I pray. My voiceshalt thou hearin the morning, O LORD; in the morningwill I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Forthou art nota Godthat hath pleasurein wickedness: neithershall evildwellwith thee. The foolishshall notstandinthy sight: thou hatestallworkersof iniquity. Thou shalt destroythem that speakleasing: the LORDwill abhorthe bloodyand deceitfulman. But as for me, I will come into thy housein the multitudeof thy mercy: and in thy fearwill I worshiptowardthy holytemple. Leadme, O LORD, in thy righteousnessbecause ofmine enemies; make thy waystraightbefore my face. For there is nofaithfulnessin their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an opensepulcher; they flatterwith their tongue. Destroythou them, O God; let them fallby their own counsels; cast them outin the multitudeof their transgressions; forthey have rebelledagainst thee. But let allthose that put their trustin thee rejoice: let them evershout for joy, because thou defendestthem: let them also that lovethy namebe joyfulin thee. Forthou, LORD, wilt blessthe righteous; with favorwilt thou compasshim as with a shield.
