<vn='1'>Let us <sn="3767">therefore</s><sn="5399">fear</s>, <sn="3379">lest</s>, a <sn="1860">promise</s> being <sn="2641">left</s> us of <sn="1525">entering</s><sn="1519">into</s><sn="846">his</s><sn="2663">rest</s>, <sn="5100">any</s><sn="1537">of</s><sn="5216">you</s> should <sn="1380">seem</s> to come <sn="5302">short</s> of it. </v>
<vn='2'><sn="1063">For</s> unto <sn="*2532">us</s> was the gospel <sn="2070 2097">preached</s>, as well <sn="2509">as</s> unto <sn="2548">them</s>: <sn="235">but</s><sn="3588">the</s><sn="3056">word</s><sn="189">preached</s> did <sn="3756">not</s><sn="5623">profit</s><sn="1565">them</s>, <sn="3361">not</s> being mixed <sn="4786">with</s><sn="4102">faith</s> in them that <sn="191">heard</s> it. </v>

<vn='10'><sn="1063">For</s> he that is <sn="1525">entered</s><sn="1519">into</s><sn="846">his</s><sn="2663">rest</s>, <sn="846">he</s><sn="2532">also</s> hath <sn="2664">ceased</s><sn="575">from</s> his <sn="848">own</s><sn="2041">works</s>, <sn="5618">as</s><sn="2316">God</s> did <sn="575">from</s><sn="2398">his</s>. </v>
<vn='11'>Let us <sn="4704">labor</s><sn="3767">therefore</s> to <sn="1525">enter</s><sn="1519">into</s><sn="1565">that</s><sn="2663">rest</s>, <sn="3363">lest</s> any <sn="5100">man</s><sn="4098">fall</s><sn="1722">after</s><sn="3588">the</s><sn="846">same</s><sn="5262">example</s> of <sn="543">unbelief</s>. </v>
<vn='12'><sn="1063">For</s><sn="3588">the</s><sn="3056">word</s> of <sn="2316">God</s> is <sn="2198">quick</s>, <sn="2532">and</s><sn="1756">powerful</s>, <sn="2532">and</s><sn="5114">sharper</s><sn="5228">than</s><sn="3956">any</s><sn="1366">two</s> -edged <sn="3162">sword</s>, <sn="1338">piercing</s><sn="2532">even</s><sn="891">to</s> the dividing <sn="3311">asunder</s><sn="*5037">of</s><sn="5590">soul</s><sn="2532">and</s><sn="4151">spirit</s>, <sn="5037">and</s> of the <sn="719">joints</s><sn="2532">and</s><sn="3452">marrow</s>, <sn="2532">and</s> is a <sn="2924">discerner</s> of the <sn="1761">thoughts</s><sn="2532">and</s><sn="1771">intents</s> of the <sn="2588">heart</s>. </v>
<vn='13'><sn="2532 3756">Neither</s><sn="2076">is</s> there any <sn="2937">creature</s> that is not <sn="852">manifest</s> in his <sn="1799 846">sight</s>: <sn="1161">but</s> all <sn="3956">things</s> are <sn="1131">naked</s><sn="2532">and</s><sn="5136">opened</s> unto <sn="3588">the</s><sn="3788">eyes</s> of <sn="846">him</s><sn="4314">with</s><sn="3739">whom</s> we have to <sn="2254 3056">do</s>. </v>
<vn='14'>Seeing <sn="3767">then</s> that we <sn="2192">have</s> a <sn="3173">great</s> high <sn="749">priest</s>, that is passed <sn="1330">into</s><sn="3588">the</s><sn="3772">heavens</s>, <sn="2424">Jesus</s><sn="3588">the</s><sn="5207">Son</s> of <sn="2316">God</s>, let us hold <sn="2902">fast</s> our <sn="3671">profession</s>. </v>
<vn='15'><sn="1063">For</s> we <sn="2192">have</s><sn="3756">not</s> a high <sn="749">priest</s> which <sn="1410 3361">cannot</s> be touched with the feeling <sn="4834">of</s><sn="2257">our</s><sn="769">infirmities</s>; <sn="1161">but</s> was <sn="2596">in</s> all <sn="3956">points</s><sn="3985">tempted</s> like <sn="2596 3665">as</s> we are, yet <sn="5565">without</s><sn="266">sin</s>. </v>
<vn='16'>Let us <sn="3767">therefore</s><sn="4334">come</s><sn="3326 3954">boldly</s> unto <sn="3588">the</s><sn="2362">throne</s> of <sn="5485">grace</s>, <sn="2443">that</s> we may <sn="2983">obtain</s><sn="1656">mercy</s>, <sn="2532">and</s><sn="2147">find</s><sn="5485">grace</s> to help in time of <sn="1519 2121 996">need</s>. </v>
